Transcribe at home for Terescription

Saturday, January 16, 2010 · 3 comments

Terescription does transcription and logging for production studios. They are currently training transcribers to contract with them from their homes. They need independent contractors to take a media file that is downloaded to their home computer and create a transcript (a typed script of all the dialogue in the video) of that media file. Then upload it back to the show.

How to Proceed

  1. Sign up at the Terescription Transcriber Sign up page.
  2. Check your email inbox for a validation email.
  3. Click on the link in the validation email. This will validate that we have the correct email address for you.
  4. Fill out all your contact information. You will then receive an email explaining step by step process of becoming a transcriber for them. They will also provide you details about payment and schedule.
  5. You will also have to submit a sample transcription before you can be hired.
  6. You are expected to have a foot pedal and a decent typing speed to make decent wage.
This is a flexible, work when you can telecommute job. There is no minimum work requirement.
